In my latest YouTube video, I show an updated version of my Plotter ring binder. Previously, I began using it as what I call a “Spiritual EDC,” where I would use it exclusively for my spiritual direction questions, First Saturday Devotions, and other little bits that helped me reflect on my spiritual life throughout the week.
I liked this setup, but I also became frustrated by the 11mm ring size for anything else. It was too cumbersome to really use it as a personal planning system because I constantly had to take pages out. The Plotter system is designed to help you carry what is really important in a specific day, so you constantly have to determine what you don’t need anymore. I appreciate this concept, but in practice, it’s too overwhelming to have this type of Techo Kaigi come-to-Jesus moment with my notebook every day. So I put it down for awhile.
This video correlates with my previous post on how I use my 11mm ring Plotter system for daily Mass. I also discuss how I now use a MeePlus binder system with 16mm rings for daily planning. It provides the sleekness of the Plotter, but with more flexibility.
Enjoy!
